I forgot, in "Simple skinning tutorial", it is even told that I have to find "steamapps" folder at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps" or "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps", but I installed Steam in "C:\Programmi\Valve\Steam", where Programmi stands for Program Files...

You have a non Steam version. We cannot help you with your problems. Purchase the game through Steam and you will be able to follow the tutorial.

Hi, I'm Scarlighter and I'm new member here. I need your help: in CS:S "Simple skinning tutorial" (Tutorials > Counter Strike: Source > Skinning), it is told I need to find a game cache file called "counter-strike source shared", which is told to be located in my "steamapps" folder; but, when I open GCFScape and then try to open that file in "steamapps", I find two files ("winui.gcf" and "sourceinit.gcf") and a folder ("sourcemods"), but there's no trace of that "counter-strike source shared" cache file! I've the game and Steam installed, and a Steam account, if it may help you...

You probably should have started a thread in the forums to get more responses. I will try and help you though. There should be a large number of files in your steamapps folder. You should see gcf files, possibly ncf files if you have any games which use those, and a folder with your steam user name. If you go to the steamapps folder without using GCFScape do you see all of these things?

Yes, Fibbs.

Then there should also be a folder with your username and the CS:S GCFs. Do you have Steam installed twice or something? If you have a pirated version of CS:S it won't be there.
