    I don't play metal or with much distortion/overdrive.

    it's still a bad compressor. a low tier compressor is just useless, all you will get is noise and a boring sound. If you have around 150$ i'd suggest the Diamond Compressor and the Empress Compressor.

    that was an odd surprise. oh well ill probably not visit this site so often but anyway, my current gear: schecter damien elite 7 (7 string tuden to drop A) 5150 blockletter head (from 92) 5150 4x12 angeled cab line 6 pod x3
