Yeah, the fuckin' buddy requester doesn't notify me when I have pending requests. I guess this site's still a WiP. I remember the old days when this group only used to have a hundred or so people in it. Back when GB was FPSB. :D

Weird, I can't find much on the internet to see if it comes with a Tightbore barrel or not. I did find one posting where a person stated that it did indeed come with a 6.03mm barrel, but I'm not sure how credible that is. As for that rail, it seems exactly like what you're looking for. I'm assuming the carrying handle on the L85 is removable, and you put that rail in its place.

Ordered an ICS L85. Gonna put in a tight bore barrel eventually. Not sure what size, 6.03 or smaller? And maybe eventually a susat scope, since the L85 doesn't have standard 20mm top rail. Anyone if there is an adapter or something?

Just read a review on this gun. Very nice choice, seems like you've got yourself a real keeper and a solid performer. A 6.03mm barrel would be a nice cheap little upgrade, although I'd read up a little more to make sure the gun doesn't already ship with one (I mean, it is ICS). As for a scope, you're very limited on choices here, and from a quick googling, the SUSAT seems like the only option as of now.

Gas is more expensive to repair?

My friend said. Gas guns are better because "less can go wrong, it is easier and cheaper to fix and more durable"

But, he never really went into detail, just some stuff about O-rings and stuff.

Perhaps he's right, but the most expensive thing to replace on an AEG is maybe a part within the gearbox. Even then, you can buy that part online and DIY for relatively cheap.
