* LEVEL DESCRIPTION *
Map is set in a fortiefied montain/desert town. While this has nothing to do with Beirut, I used that title because my popular cs map was also called cs_beirut, and both maps have simular layout/gameplay. (the orriginal map had nothing to do with beirut either but I had the map idea after watching a movie with Chuck Norris who had to free hostages in beirut :P )

MAP BASE : defort & csbeirut for HL1. MAP VERSION : build 88 PREFABS USED : none EDITOR(S) USED : Hammer 4,0, Softimage XSI and Paint Shop Pro7 OTHER UTILITIES USED : none KNOWN BUGS : none.
COMPILE MACHINE : Core2duo Qx6700 2gb DDR2
compile time : Around 1,5 hours for a -final compile. time spend on building : V 1.0 3 months shared with another map V 1.3 update 2 years after initial release.

* SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION *
Fixes in version 65 - For some reason there were no 64 spawnpoints this version fixes that. - Added a way for ct's to get on the middle wall - Removed acces to walls in corner where terrorists could shoot at ct's comming from spawn. - Added some extra models. - Removed dustcloud effects and several models for better framerates.
Fixes in version 64: - Added extra spawnpoints up to 34 vs 34 for 64 player servers. - Added start view locations when the map is loaded and players are in the team select menu. - Added a rope at the back side of a building near CT spawn so CT's can get on higher ground too, this should even out the odds a bit. - A few little graphical changes.
Fixes in hdr version: - Added custom models and skins. - Added hdr support. - Added 'green' radar image. - Some tweaks.
