Inspired by a classic deagle map.

So, the story behind this map is this: For awhile, I was playing on a server owned by a clan called “United States Bong Team”, or USBT (currently defunct, AFAIK). One night, we were playing on that classic “deagle” map (the one with the box maze and a walkway above it), which had been ported to the source engine. I started complaining about how ugly it was, and the leader of the clan (p0stal) called me on it. He said that if I thought I could make it better, that I should prove it. This map is the result, with the addition of an overall USBT inspired theme.

Your argument makes sense, but I still think that a remake should be credited accordingly. I happen to have gg_deagle5, so I'm familiar with this map. Just as you've told me to do some research, you could do some yourself, and find the name of the author. Or at least the author of the map you were inspired by.

    Thanks for your comments and rating, Archanor! You make some very good points, and I gotta agree. The door frames would probably be better as a dark grey or green metal texture. The crate textures are unfortunately stock Valve textures, and should be replaced, so thanks for pointing that out. Any thoughts on how the lighting could be improved?
