Terrorists try to bomb factory area or delivery of barrels containing toxic chemicals. Stop them at all costs!

So this is my 3rd real map and ends the trilogy of CS Source maps i have created. Everything in this, like on my other maps too, have been done from scratch. I have not edited any existing maps or anything, this is all from my own head. So In this map, i wanted to try out another scenario. 1 close bombsite and 1 more far away. Its all about the teamwork which team will win. There are enough routes to avoid bottleneck fights and it is fully balanced for both teams!

I created this during 2 months of time. This is the best optimized map i have done since the start to the end. It compiles on normal only in 19 minutes which i consider a good result! I left HDR off because it cutted -100fps off straight on, even if i really tried to optimize it to the map. It did that even if it wouldnt be on at players PC but the map had support for HDR. Weird stuff, i know but map looks fine without it too! Playability over eyecandy, thats my motto.

    Should add some replies here.. thanks again. I am too busy for any studios and i like to do things on my own. Only thing i would need is a skilled modeler to help me out with some props but thats it.

    CS Source isnt that realistic, you have to select between realism and playability and thats where paths cross. This isnt as realistic as it could be but hey, its all from my own head :-)

    I like light bright maps myself so this is one of those. It's bright for both teams, not just one so i dont see that as a problem. Maybe the light could be reduced but its now the way it is.

    Nice map which will probably offer nice gameplay but there are things that can be improved IMO:

    • realism. Some connections are weird and some room as well. The "rolling bridge" is almost useless where it was. It will collide with the house and the weird metal stairs.

    • The radar seems to be radioactive :)

    • lightning. Obviously, this is not a "fullbright map", but it is too bright anyway. Some rooms and passages are even brither than outside areas. Reduce lighning it will give an better overall look and feel IMO.

    Balance: The map is balanced very well and like you said in your description you can avoid the "bottleneck fights".

    Design: The map is laid out perfectly and everything just fits. There is a good amount of cover and plenty of places to hide.

    Detail: Everything looks nice and clean the only thing I would change is that in the buildings like in second screen shot it needs to be darker.

    Other: The map looks and and plays amazingly and has a very realistic look to it. I would have to agree with some of the other post that it could be used in large tournaments such as cal.

    Thanlks for the feedback. For sithlord, you guessed right. The left side of the screenshot is a wall with huge windows so the light actually fits in quite nicely. I also like maps where i can see so thats why this is so bright.

    (from screenshots only) Map looks great man! Very clean, love the bright vibrant colors. The knocked over truck with the gravel looks nice!

    The lighting in the inside of the warehouse in screenshot 2 looks odd to me. Unless the half of the building we can't see is a huge window, its way too bright in there. But yet, I love bright maps, u can actually see your target in them. :D
