It's because the default AK is held low at the waist level and out away from you. This skin is held close to your face as if you're aiming. Compare the W_models and you'll see that they're fine.
Maybe the default ak47 is unrealistic :P

It's very nice, but I have some things wrong with it actually, that could be quite cool. Silenced version? Because of the silencer in the render? It's a plain black, when usp's are usually silver, so perhaps a choice. And I don't know too much about guns, but that hammer doesn't really look like one.
