REALISM SOUNDPACK V2

This is the second iteration of my Realism pack. This time round nearly all the weapons have sounds from their real world counterparts - I used whatever I could get my hands on! Unlike my previous realism pack, all the sounds included here within are my own work.

The AWP you hear is a 7.62mm version - not quite the same as the .338 depicted in game, but close enough. For the Scout an M24 was used. All the other weapons (M4, AK, etc) use their real world counterparts.

I did capture reload sounds from the weapons, but some of these sounds were a little weak, so I mixed them around to achieve better clarity.

As with all my packs this one features distant gunshots, so this pack should offer the most realistic audio experience for the player to date!

    Not sure what you mean by there being wind for some of the sounds. In some of the shots you can hear a "whoosh" sound as the bullet is expelled from the gun.

    I love the distant gunshot effect, however when I fire a weapon the gunfire only comes out of the right channel and the distant effect comes out of the left(when I fire a gun it plays both left/right channels). the distant shots sound amazing, but is there any way to make the first person shots only play the right channel out of either the center or both left and right? or is this a sacrifice that has to be made to enable distant shots?

    it's fucken awesome, it's gonna be source for my gta IV weapon mod(gonna edit the files in audacity). I only wish there were no strange effects like wind in USP unsil. Do I get it that CSS combines the channels to amplify them ? or is it just that right channel is used only for reverb?
