Testing various methods of transparencies, this is the best outcome I could do, and it worked surprisingly well.
Ignore the render, instead go see the screenshot I submitted,
its much more impressive. You'll see the wings are even semi transparent, like a fly's wings should be. Although I had to actually draw the shadowing myself, couldnt take the easy way out (drop shadow effect) because it either wouldnt render the shadow in the alpha channel, or it would render it with white/black gradient, instead of transparent/black gradient.So, harder work = better outcome, go figure ^_^
