This small plug in boosts fps on your server, even if it requires to take extra CPU power. If your server has higher fps than client's pings go lower. Also this makes everything go much smoother. FPS stands for Frames Per Second . You can get this sucker at over 800 fps, but be careful I don't recommend putting it higher than 1000 as it can cause server crashes. You should recognize this if you own a server. So go to where you have addons which is usually in c:/program files/valve/HLServer/cstrike/addons/ and extract the fpsboost folder in to the addons folder. Now go to C:/program files/valve/HLServer/cstrike/cfg/ and open your server.cfg file and type fpsmax 400 . You need a space after max and you can change 400 to any number under 999. I also recommend keeping the fps at least over 100 if you want a pretty smooth server. I keep mine at 400 and it runs great. So save the server.cfg after you add the number and thats it! Now when you boot up your server you should see the fps at the top around the number you set it to. If it's lower than expected just configure the fpsmax # to a higher number.
