Free fast downlodas with instructions

I have set up an account on my webserver for anyone to use to store .bz2 files for fast download servers. It already includes the default folders and some files.

Okay - If you have an FTP program (I recommend filezilla. If you don't already have one.)

Here are the login details:

Host: aperture-m.com Port : 21 User: download@aperture-m.com Pass: password

Please don't abuse it. The only file types allowed:

.html .htm .jpg/jpeg .gif .swf .png .bsp .bz2 .wav .mp3 .vmt .vtf .vtx .mdl .vvd .phy .lua .txt
I will check regularly what is being uploaded.

Use this for the bzipping: Download

Just drag and drop up to five files at a time onto the .exe file and it will convert them. If it does not work try dragging less files. It usually depends on the file size as it can only compress so much each time.

Add these lines to your server.cfg file to get the downloads activated on your server:

svdownloadurl http://aperture-m.com/666 netmaxfilesize 60

    Hello, I can't seem to connect to FTP server any more (someone deleted my files o.O). The password is incorrect. Can you check that login information is correct? Thanks.

    It really does work. it took 24 hours to work , but it does work. Thank you so much Kat Fish. and for those still unclear. this is what I put in my server.cfg for it to finally work. sv_downloadurl "http://aperture-m.com/666/YOUR FOLDER NAME/cstrike/"

    I did have to add the csttrike folder and maps folder, then put the Bzipped mpas in the map folder. Good luck All!

    I am getting the same errors that BloodDawnSWE is getting.... bz2 files will download, but when it goes to load the bsp file or any other file, it says "Missing map: disconnecting" and boots anyone who connects to the server.

    how do we fix this?

    Is it possible to get a private folder/account? I would really approciate it m8 cuz my files gets deleted all the time.

    Hey got some problem with this, had it on my old server and that worked just fine but know something is wrong.

    Have (in server.cfg)

    sv_downloadurl "http://aperture-m.com/666/srcds/cstrike/"

    and allow up and download set to 1 and all cataloges in order, but when download starts when connection, it switched from .bz2 to .bsp and then i get the "missing map" issue, never had any problem with this before.

    Any suggestions? Its driving me crazy. Using sourcemod metamod if thats any neccesarry information! tried using without 666 cataloge, tried to remove the last slash after cstrike, I just dont understans whats wrong.

    Just make a back up of your files and put in some one else's folder. or make urs hidden.

    If some one help me threw this i will Make them an ftp account with unlimited gb, bandwidth to. Complete with your own user name and password.
