A really great looking and fun gg map you've made mate. Maybe you could release the custom textures you made in a pack because the textures you made or have look really really good. Once again Jack you've outdone yourself, especially for a gg map.

Wow... thanks for your post^^ You are right in all your improvements, but i had so much work to improve the fps (yes they were more crap before^^) and making all those details that i am glad to NEVER see that map in Hammer again xD A new gg map is in work gg_wellness, again with many custom content... but it will take another long time to release it... i will think about your improvements on the new map! Thanks for asses too

Hey Jack!
This is a great map for all sorts of things so thanks for bringing this onto the site. But as I always say, no map can be perfect. This map has some bad points that bring it down.
First of all I will talk about the looks. The looks are great. It is a great design and the detail is really added onto this map. But sometimes you add too much and the more you add the more likely it is going to go wrong. I see you have gone for a broken building castle thing idea. But the problem is it all seems a little 'sharp'. I really loved the 3d skybox so great work on that and the textures and custom content is really good. Has a lot of effects. But another big thing that could also make this map look much neater and more realistic is having more coloured lighting. You have really white lighting on the inside and yellowy lighting on the outside. You just can't see any bright lighting coming through from the dark so it seems more realistic. Instead it all looks really plain and white. Usually this also makes more errors stand out a lot. So I suggest some good HDR with orange light in warm areas and blue in cold.
In gameplay it is an ok map to keep playing but after a while it does get a bit boring as a lot of it looks a bit the same as the other side. But it did play good and there were places for all different guns so good work.
Lastly, things you can improve. I did find that fps fell in places. The effects like fire and that do put down fps a lot so I found my fps going to 50 around those areas. Also I did feel it get boring after a while (like I said on gameplay) not only because of areas being the same but it having no sound. This not only makes the map more boring it kills off that atmosphere and makes the map feel less realistic. It would be good to change the lighting more. Inside it would be good to have a darker room with it being lit up by the fire to make the room orangey. Then light coming through the roof. At the floor down from that you could make it seem more scary and creepy to walk inside. Have a yellow brown grey sort of colour for it to make it look dirty. Then for the outside have a more blue dirty colour to make it look colder and broken down.
