zmminiatureroom_v1

NOTE: map is made for zm_reload has not been tested by me for infinite ammo, I will most likely make an infinite ammo version as well and release that... The map is not meant to have gravity, as the spots are made so that they don't need gravity and if it is there ruins the map...

Please note: This map was not copied or based off of de_dolls it was just an idea that came to me when I was bored and started mapping, after 7 beta's I finally got to a product I thought was good and could be released to the public.

Also: All DECENT feedback is welcome :D

    Pros: This map is really great for your first release. It looks great plus the texture are well chosen and apllied Cons: The map is actualy to big and it may be dificult for the humans to escape Improvements: Try adding some "road blocks: or something that will slow down the zombies a litle.some left behinf toys, books.. Notes: Over all this map is great, and i have seen no bad texturing or missed placed blocks. Great Job.

    Thanks for the feedback! :D Appreciate it, and when Iw as making this map I was using my communities server to test it, (which doesn't have different zombie classes and is reload) so its designed for just a normal zombie class with reload :D But thanks :D Several of my new projects (one rats, one a huge huge map) are all quite big :D So you might like them ^^ but I don't have a massive amount of time on my hands so, could take a while! But thanks for the review. Alex.

The map’s overall FPS is good too, even though it is a big open room. There are many spots to go hide and explore, you have many different types of hiding spots around the map. You have a decent amount of FPS to play around with here. I would suggest adding more props for barricades in certain areas. I haven’t played it on a ZM server yet, but you might want to watch out for balance issues in some spots. For example the wooden plank that leads to the three planters on the shelf. Also, the small ledges that circle the top of the room. In the console I saw some cubemap errors, which isn’t a big deal but also there were 2 invalid spawns. Invalid terrorist spawn point at (-40.0,57.0,57.0) Invalid counterterrorist spawn point at (-607.9,1.0,1.0). Make sure to fix those for the next version of the map. Also some of the textures inside the walls that receive low transitional light need their light map increased so the shadows fall smoother. Again I really like this map and I can’t wait to play it on a ZM server!

    Hehe thanks :D I like variation as it is essential to not letting the player get bored with the map and so on as you know! The shelf with the plants on it is balanced, people can go on the speakers and boost up I made sure it wasn't an overkill spot, all spots are balanced for reload even if they don't look like they are I made sure they all were. It just requires some smart tactics from the zombies, the top of map is made as I said for reload and it can be killed by the zombies isn't impossible ^^ Thanks for spawn info and I hate cubemaps :D Never seem to do anything so decided to leave them out but I think they are for people with weaker pc's? Will look into the light map actually would make it look better.

    But ye glad you like it but as I said even though the spots might look unbalanced for zombie reload they are completely balanced just often requires a creative or skilled zombie to kill them ^^ Don't wana make the game too easy for people!

    While I can't deny that this would make a great Rats map, It's the maps creator who get's to choose where it goes. The map is clearly meant for Zombies with all the spots for hiding. I don't see where anyone get's the position to say that a map gets to go somewhere besides the creator.

    Always looking for mappers!
