A massively egotistical map created by Alex Voysey (AKA Saxon). I've worked hard to make an attractive and well balanced map, with its own unique style.

I was hoping to add custom weapons to the map, but sadly this hasn't been possible. Instead I've added some map specific player skins, which is nevertheless a first for CSS!

I'm currently planning on creating a ZE version of this map - if anyone can provide an Atix style helicopter prefab, this will be done!

Installation: Extract the BSP file to your cstrike/maps folder.

    This map should definitely be remade as a escape map!

    A possible scenario could be a earthquake. Everyone spawn in the basement and have to find a path to the top before a final quake destroy the building entirely. It's big and complex enough so you could block shortcuts with rocks, fire or something that will force everyone to follow a certain path floor by floor to the top. Instead of a helicopter, make a bridge to a safe place from the top floor outside, which is destroyed on the final nuke/earthquake.

    Keep it simple in the beginning, simple effects and triggers. Just to get the escape gameplay going. Then you could add explosions and other scripted stuff that will make players run like hell.

    Your mapping/architecture skill is really impressive. The map is pretty realistic and detailed while it's still well optimized.

    Btw, I don't like that those models are overridden either, especially when it forces consistency to be disabled. Models is a server admin's desicion. Instead put your models in a separate optional package (not in the bsp). A quick fix for others is to remove those model files and model materials manually (but add a suffix in the filename so it's not conflicting with the official release).

    I think there's a bit few camping places, but maybe that's not your plan. Maybe they are supposed to split up in groups and find a camping place each. Teamwork is the keyword.

    Hmm a safehouse is quite a good idea :D It would probably be less buggy than a helicopter too. Thanks for the suggestion!

    I'm rather bummed to hear that other people have done map specific player skins before. I thought this would be the first map to do so :/
