An unfinished office building of sorts which features various camping and barricading areas; designed to be challenging.

ZmConcreteFinal: By Nubblecakes & Makkon

The finished and polished version of Zm_Concrete. The final features two new areas and a lot more camping/barricading spots. It also features improved optimization so that you won't lag-ass like in the last one. I added improved hinting for VVIS and added areaportalwindows to tunnel entries and doorways to improve blocking unnecessary rendering to improve the overall frame-rate. I got a solid 40-60 FPS in-game, which I ALWAYS get in CSS. I have CSS maxed out (including aa and af) at a resolution of 1024x768 (Due to only 256mb of video RAM) and full HDR.

My computer has a Geforce 7900GS gpu, 3gb of RAM and a Core2Duo E6400 2.13ghz cpu. It's a Dell XPS 410...a Dell unfortunately...

Most of the time the FPS stayed between 55 and 60, and dropped down to around 43 in a few areas for, most likely, the HDR. If you hate HDR so much, DISABLE IT IN YOUR FUCKING VIDEO OPTIONS AND STOP COMPLAINING! And remember, the FPS WILL most likely drop a bit more when there's 12 humans in one camping spot because they fail so much they can't defend themselves and need 1089127312 other people behind them to survive, and especially when they're all constantly firing their mile-long clips and ejecting 100s of shells on the ground. You can't expect me to avoid this from happening...

    Pros: Looks very nice, very realistic. Cons: Gameplay could be improved in some parts... The huge room where you fall and get teleported back up needs work for example. This room takes up a third of the map and yet has no decent camping spots. D:

    Hmm...what the hell. I zipped that audio file up in the map perfectly. It must have not worked or something.

    When i click on the little radio i get this error message:

    Failed to load sound "nub\molecules.mp3", file probably missing from disk/repository

    i agree with the others that a 3D skybox is the only thing that this map is missing, otherwise its a beautiful map even HDR is looking good on this one. :D

    ...Yet another amazing map by you.

    If more mappers were like this (Not saying that there are not some) and took time to think out and design and detail it so much.

    I could go on all day saying everyone that makes this map as good as it is, but I won't ^^

    A few things I would like to point out of being really good is the HDR lighting, I really like those in detailed maps like this, it adds to it a lot.

    The setting and layout of this map is also truly amazing.

    This is what zombie maps should be like and there are a bunch like this, but not enough.

    Keep up the great work on maps.

    Pros: looks really good for being on just hl2...i have problems making maps for mods just because of the lack of stuff...so yeah great job. Cons: the only thing i really see is the 5th screenshot looks wierd just because of the wall at the top...but other then that its all good. Improvements: 3d sky box Notes: good job, nuff said.

    Pros: Beautiful map, the lighting, the setting, just awesome. FPS is great considering all the details, I get 50-80. de_dust 2 my average is 80-100. Cons: Should have a 3D skybox so it doesn't look like its floating in a void. Improvements: None.
