This is the first map I have ever made in hammer. Thanks to some tuts by Sgt. kick ur ass, and a tutorial on modsonline, I was able to make HDR, a realistic sun, and several other details.
I am submitting this on fpsb because I want some feedback on my work. Give it an honest rating and all that junk. :D

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of expanding it, but after I made the APC, I got kind of lazy, so I just finished it up by isolating poor Gordon in a small yard surrounded by a wall with nothing on the other side in the middle of nowhere.
I think I'll improve upon this map and make it a relatively long SP map.
I honestly can't say it deserves to be a top-rated map. I think that if EP2 were payed more attention to, it definitely wouldn't be. That and if more maps were actually made for it. It's a shame that not enough people make any SP maps for HL2 as much anymore. Most SP mods die off, unfortunately. But let's not get into that.
Anyway, played it through, found it relatively boring and bland. Now, for a first map, it's fantastic, but I just don't think you should have released it in the state it is currently in.
It's got plenty of potential to be improved. I say get more experience in Hammer by working on this and improve it until it looks like a full-fledged SP map.
As of now, I withhold my assessment. I'd love to see this taken to the next level since you have that potential.
It is. I asked him if he could give it an honest assessment, and he just gave it a ten. Who thinks i should delete it?
And Krusty, yes it is possible for a map to be that small. This thing has almost nothing to play in it. It was just a small test on hammer to see if I could get the hang of it.
did you play the map... how the hell does it deserve a 10? I think its another friend score.
Now the map is only 370kb large. Can this be correct? I don't have HL2:EP2 and can't check it.
Okay, I got rid of the .vmf, so yeah. No problems there.
Thanks for telling me. I thought they needed the .prt and .vmx files to edit the map.
You would be surprised if you would know, how easy map's decompiling is.
Yeah, there might be some errors, but they are usually quickly fixed.
Hey, please don't include the VMF in the rar, because people can steal your work and/or ideas and etc.
