GameBanana: Adding A Radial Menu (Tutorials > Left 4 Dead > Other/Misc

A short and simple tutorial explaining how to create your own Radial Menu.

Start by browsing to your left4dead scripts folder and open up "RadialMenu.txt"
Highlight the parts shown in the picture below and copy and paste them to the bottom.
(Reference to "Radialmenu.txt" at the bottom to make sure you copied it correctly)
Now, change the title to something you will remember for the next step. Then change the commands and text to your likings.
Browse to your cfg folder and open up "autoexec.cfg" in notepad and add bind (key) "+mouse_menu (menu title)" and save.
Finally, start up Left 4 Dead and see if it worked. Below is what it should look like:

Autoexec.cfg - Modified Version

bind mouse5 "+mouse_menu CheatsMenu"

RadialMenu.tx - Modified Version - »DOWNLOAD«

Click "»DOWNLOAD«" button to view OR Right Click-->Save as... to save it.

Extras: *Where it says "Survivor" and "Alive" next to the radial menu title in "RadialMenu.txt", they can be removed or replaced with "Infected" and "Dead".

Select "Save as Type: (.) All Types" and name it autoexec.cfg

Well... i couldn't find my autoexec.cfg file so i made one in notepad++ but i couldn't find that file type when i was saving it! help!

If it doesn't exist, then you create it yourself. Just open up notepad or notepad++ and save it as autoexec.cfg

One thing you should mention is that you paste that code before the last closing bracket. People were probably having trouble because they pasted it at the very bottom.

Yeah... you can turn off caps lock and stop blaming people for your own problems. Just redo the tutorial I know it works.

i did everything exactly like it said to do and didn't work(i was kinda pissed off at the time so i had caps on sry)(EDIT)i downloaded your version and trying to see if this works.
