Grats on your map.
What did you removed anyway from Hoodoo?
Howdy, Youme.
Just wanted to bring this to your attention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io4QeOGNvl8 We have a glitch with plhoodoob5 which causes the bomb cart to do a barrel roll and not show up in the next phase. Repro details are on the youtube description. Our servers will be updating to the next version of the map, so we'll see if it reproduces there or not (I saw no reference to it in your bugfix list). If it does, we'll let you know. Cheers!

Take that!

Wrong credits by your definition are only given when they don't want to explain who did what though, thats not our problem if the authors notes are not filled out to include that optional information.
The rules are what they are, we will continue to enforce them, nothings going to change that.
As I said to the other two already, if you have such a big problem with how we enforce the rules then Tom is the only person to talk to, I don't change rules.

The Authors list shows all authors of content, it is not there to say these people personally made the map, but that they each made something that the map is using both small and large.
Thats where the Authors Notes comes in to then provide more detail on what they did if the submitter so chooses and most do, sometimes with links to the original downloads for the custom content. Thats one purpose of the notes section,
Am I missing why you WOULDN'T want to be credited for something you created that was used in something else? Do you not like the submission or something?

Your still the author of that texture are you not? How exactly is it improper to provide credit where credit is due? Anything that one didn't create must be accounted for, otherwise its theft/plagiarism which is something explained at great length in schools.
I'm going to use the essay example again, person A writes an essay on a subject, but uses a small single quote from Person B at the start of it to help their point, Person B didn't write the essay, but they have to be credited otherwise the student fails for plagiarism and stealing content that is not theres.
Everything that is not Valve default but made by another person, whether its a texture, skybox, model or even the level design itself, they have to be listed as an author since they created it and not the submission owner.
If you have an issue with the sites basic Rules then the only thing you can do would be to contact Tom about it, otherwise we will still be enforcing the rules that all authors must be credited for their work and protecting those basic rights.
Lost,

Lost. I'll probably be removing your texture in the next release, though that'll be a bit later because of the payload contest. And I understand what you mean about it being misleading. People will search for your name and come up with my map, which a) means I'm riding your success and b) makes it seem like my map is your work (in whole or in part), and thus will bring you undue criticism because its at a very early stage in development.

Because I did use your dev textures, and I posted that I used them in the read me. However, they pulled the map until I updated the authors list to reflect authors of all the custom content.
Hey man, whats your steam friends name, I want to add you. If it's ok. Post in my profile.
