The group of developers working on the Half Life 2 mod, Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat have released their June Update! The update is a relatively small one, fixing only a few issues, as well as adding a new map, ins_karam.

Personally, I would much prefer to see more effort being put into the beta 3 update and more important fixes like hit box fixes and damage fixes.

This update has also given word of a larger, more involved update that is currently being worked on that will work on such things as player textures, optics, weapon textures and updates for INSBaghdad and INSRamadi.

Ins_Karam is still in Alpha release meaning that although it cannot be considered final it should still allow you to play normally and enjoy the combat. Because of this, it may still be buggy but developers will be closely monitoring players impressions of it to make further improvements
