Battlefield Heroes Launched

Apparently, Electronic Arts' and DICE's new action game, Battlefield Heroes, has crept out of beta and is now free to play. Interestingly, there was no big launch announcement, or anything.

Here are some of the features of Battlefield Heroes:

    - RPG elements like missions and character customization.

    • In-game XP point system with which you can get new weapons, clothing, and other content for your character.

    • Purchasable "Battle Funds" which you can use to buy exclusive custom content for your character

    • Context specific Third and first person gameplay.

So basically, if you want a free-to-play action game with RPG elements (character customization, missions) and awesome cartoon art style, Download the game today!

    The game was not developed for free. Of course they will charge for the cool items and the items that give you XP of HP boosts! It doesn't make sense to spend tons of money developing this game, paying employees, and then releasing it absolutely free.

    probably was developed for free or by students.

    I played the beta and there is no way I am going back, even if they do offer me free medals for being in the beta, which they did.

    They said that the items they sold would not be in any way let you be better than the other players..

    Im out of date, so this could of course be wrong!
