Pros: The puzzles were good, some new ideas I saw there. Cons: Lighting was bad, half of the map was really dark, try adding some more lights. After I closed the gate to stop the balls form rolling I suffered massive fps drop and the map became unplayable. My fps dropped to just 10 whereas I normally get 200+ fps. Improvements: Add some lights, fix the fps drop. Notes: Nice concept just needs some more polishing.

Posted by Bluestrike Wow 4 portals :) I removed the slime so players could fling too the button, I have no idea how you were able to do it in another way. Hmm I asumed players needed 2 portals in the last chamber so it would be impossible to go back to the earyler parts but looks like you found a way.

You are able to just jump from the center "ball track" to the platform in the advanced chamber. And you only need one portal in the final chamber: the one that leads back to where you left the WCC on the button. The way I did it in so few portals is by using 2 in the beginning, like necessary to go through the cracked open door. And 2 for the energy ball, using the WCC to richochet it.

Another sorta "cheat" I found is you can place the WCC in the ball track, then run down ahead of it, and the WCC will slow the balls enough to get through alive. Then you just grab the WCC as it comes flying past, and jump to the button, and you're done.

    Not conventional; inventional.

Fun map! Very unique, too. I was able to beat both the basic and advanced chambers fairly easily. The spheres are awesome!

There are some bugs with the map. Once you get to the final room, activate the button with the WCC, and let the "companion spheres" roll in, the puzzle is practically complete. You can jump up and finish. However, you can also use your portals from further back in the level, and return to the beginning. You can even climb up the pipes to the top where the spheres spawn. And if you hit that second button in the room that activates the spheres/pipe door, spheres begin to spawn repeatedly, eventually jamming the pipes and ruining the frame rate.

And is there supposed to be no slime on the Adv. map? You are able to walk and portal on the bottom of the abyss in the last room, where previously there had been slime. I almost felt the Adv. chamber was easier instead of harder.

Also, I tried the challenges, and got a minimum of 4 (!) portals for the portal challenge. Haha.

Anyway, awesome concept map, but several significant bugs. I hope to see updates and new levels in the future!

As another poster mentioned, there are some serious performance issues on this map. The framerate was perfect until about the last room, then it went to maybe 10 fps at times, making it almost impossible to finish. I finished it, though, and played the advanced version. The same thing happened towards the end, though not to as nearly of a degree. However, when it was at around 10 fps, I tried loading quicksaves and the performance was instantly back to normal. So, I do feel it is an issue with the map.

Good map, though, creative with the spheres. Could be a bit more challenging though.

    Thanks

I must say, screenshot 2 has me intrigued with the different object type you've created there, not just the same old crates.

    Uberstyle still progressing...
