I have enjoyed several maps by this mapmaker, but Deadwood is my favorite, far and away. The game play is intense with a full house, and yet I've also played it with 4-6 people and had a BLAST.
One of the best things about it is there are so many strategic options for both teams and all classes. Whatever style of play you like, you're gonna have fun.
There are a bunch of passages through buildings and tunnels that allow both teams to sneak behind enemy lines and pull surprises (whether ubers, spies, or other surprise attacks). Some great alleys for snipers to shoot down. Fun places to hide sentries. Lots of fun spots for pyros to jump down from and flame groups of cart pushers.
There's just enough cover in the long alleys and open spaces that you can use to duck out of a hail of bullets -- but not so much that you can "camp". The balance of elements hits a nice sweet spot.
The medpack/ammo placements are intuitive and "just right" (not too many, not too few). I don't get "stuck" on corners of buildings or doors or rocks, like on some custom maps.
HIGHLY recommended. Give this one a few hours of play and you'll be totally hooked.
