Time for some serious fun!

News: MARIOKART 2 STEAM GROUP Join the new Steam group for news, teasers and more info on the upcoming version of Mariokart 2.

DM_Mariokart2 is a sandbox map filled with fun and features. The colorful map supplies you with several interactive features such as drivable gokarts, a blimp that's capable of dropping nukes, aswell as a unique quest for the players to reveal secret locations of the map.

There are also several ways to get around the giant map, such as riding the vehicles, launching yourself through cannons, or by using the warp zone that allows you to travel through the underground pipe systems.

Special thanks to Klu for compiling and some entity help, aswell as Sliferjam for his awesome custom models and feedback. My gratitude also goes towards GamingDeluxe who helped me host and test the map. Walkthrough video was filmed by audiOtrash!

    This map is very cool, however, very unstable in Garry's Mod. Not onlyt does it lag severely, it crashes after several to thirty seconds of gameplay. I suggest fixing this in the next beta.

    Great map, here are some suggestions for the 3rd edition.

    -Make the pipe plaza (The area that access' world 1-2 and the red and blu pipes and tanks) A no sentry zone, like the spawn rooms. -Make the inside of the pipes themselves no sentry zones, I constantly have to kick people for building in there. -Add more music options to world 1-2. Make world 1-3 an undergruoud inspired area, I know this would probably require a lot of new textures, so it's up to you. -Increase the power of the cannons,they always seem to launch any non-scout class just a hair short of the roof.

    Thats all I can think of for now, i'll post more as I see it.

    Both should be able to open it, if not, try joining a server in TF2 to download it straight off the server.

    My personal favourite server is this one: 194.50.80.20:27015

    Wow... I love epic fun maps like this. I'm loving those sick assed remixes.

    I don't have tf2 installed but I'd definitely want this on servers for sure. How does this not have over 1k downloads already? this map is beast!

    All I can say is nicely done to both you and the contributors of this expert map!

    Edit: You should've added more voting options to the CSA. Only having 3 things doesn't really justify this map's overall rating since its so huge.
