WARNING: This map is recommended for 32 players ONLY. It is extremely large and typically will require well-coordinated teams to score.

Instant-respawn is strongly not recommended as both teams have quite a lot of ground to traverse to reach the flag areas. Respawn timers are a crucial gameplay balance factor in TF2 and are especially important for this map. If this map is played on an instant-respawn or modded server, don't expect a team to get 3 captures before the map time expires.

This map has plenty of sprawling, open areas, yet also has smaller bottlenecks and one-way paths to the flag.

Chicky might be on to something with the idea of making it a CP instead of a CTF map, ya might want to seriously look into that. Maybe one in which theres 7 non-linear cap points and you advance your spawn point for every two points you hold?

Still is a very large map but that might be a quick and easy improvement.

EDIT: Ya know ive been thinking...what if you made this a staged map like hydro? You start in the middle of the map with two cap points and whoever wins you advance towards the other teams base.

Because those end in stalemate so often another thing i thought of is to have a king of the hill style thing. Start in the center but theres only one cap point in the center of the map and whoever holds it for 3 minutes advances towards the enemy's base.

Well these ideas might be too out there. The map is clearly designed for ctf but I think you should seriously consider trying to somehow stage this map so that you can use all of it without having to use all of it at one time.

Pros: Considering the map is all inside of what appears to be a warehouse, it looks pretty good. Lots of detail and this map obviously took a lot of time to make. Cons: It's freakin' huge!!! Too confusing - too big - lots of big open rooms which are just too confusing! Improvements: Remove lots of extra areas that aren't needed. Add more directional signs and make it easier for ALL classes to play. There are areas which are obviously more friendly to spies and to scouts, but I don't see a lot of areas friendly to other classes. This map needs a lot more balance. Notes: Keep up the good work. You've got an excellent start.... and this may have worked great for a CP map but for CTF, it's way too big.

After playing it on a full server for 45 mins or so, i found that there is a huge area that no one really goes through. The map is fantastically designed, just enormous, and maybe to a fault. The whole area where it is like a big storm drain, rarely used. Still nice job on it, looks great.

Pros: Exquisite attention to detail. Cons: Map is HUGE. Too large to get a decent exchange of fire between teams. Improvements: Cut down the size. Notes: I believe this is a great map in terms of being a piece of art, however it does not align with the interest of having a fun game.

I heavily recommend people run through this thing once on an empty server before tackling it on a pub. You'll find people wandering around aimlessly while you go right to the flag.

Also a big hint: always take the high road once inside the enemy's base to get to the flag.

I definetly agree with Killosity that this is hands down the best looking custom map yet, easily rivaling valve made maps for details and overall awesome-looking-ness.

HOWEVER, as is I simply can't see this being played regularly on anything but a 32 person server, which is a shame since the bulk of TF2 is played on smaller servers.

It sucks mainly because I know it would kill the creator to have to chop this beauty down to size. Well I certainly will try and find 32 person servers that run this and I will absolutely be lookin for more maps from Saikan in the future.

Oh and finally kudos at trying to veer away from the standard mirror image map. I understand this inevitably leads to one side having an advantage but it sure does make the map look a helluva lot more interesting.

Ran it on TheVille.org IV server last night. Incredibly large. VERY confusing at first. It seemed like fun once players figured out how to exit their own base. It looks nice. Gameplay is mediocre IMHO.

No understatement here. This is the best Team Fortress 2 map to be made so far, and quite possibly the best for a long time.

The screenshot of what seems to be the centre of the map looks incredible, you have some serious design flare.

I cannot wait to see this on a server.
