A TF2 version of the original 2fort
This map is based off the original 2fort tfc version. I believe I have fixed all the bugs that have been brought up from version 1 and if no more show up this will become a final version.
Changelog: - Gave the map a theme (water testing facilitytype area) - Added round timer - Fixed respawn room logics - Changed base textures a bit
This map is pretty good. 2 things I noticed: there is a garbage can that is upside down in the blue basement.
The barrels in the red basement are floating and not in the same position as the barrels in the blue basement.
Other than that, I like the map.

Well, I don't think that TFC 2fort fits well with TF2 gameplay. Valve makes good changes at original map for to fit TF2 style, in my opinion.
If you want to play original 2fort then is better to play Fortress Forever mod. This mod tries to recreate TFC gameplay nicely.

why would you base any custom map on how a Valve map looks? A custom map is mainly built by one person, such as this one. Valve has unlimited resources to build maps with anything they need, such as models, textures, skysboxes, you name it. There isnt any custom maps that compare to what Valve can do. Nor will there be.
You still dont get it though. This map isnt supposed to look like a TF2 map. Its supposed to look like the classic map from TFC, therefore, should be rated as such.
I don't think you understand. The rating system that YOU put up let me rate the map on looks. I rated it accordingly. I don't care if it's based on a tfc map, we're not playing tfc. I'm rating your maps on the bar set by valves maps which this map does not surpass in terms of looks.
From your continuous rants about looks, Im guessing you never played TFC right? Do you see the part on the back end of the title of this map that says classic? That means it is based off the TFC version. Which also means that its going to look similar. Guess what? TF2 version of 2fort I get 45 fps around the map. This version I get 90. Looks dont mean everything.
Pros: If you like 2fort then you'll like this. Cons: It doesn't look that good. It looks like the same textures throughout the map. It makes it look a lot more boring and less like I want to play it. Improvements: Make it look better.

Pros: looks alot better than the original, and got the same great gameplay, a very good remake. Cons: there's alot of 2fort copies around.
Pros: Waterfall looks nice, and maintained consitant gameplay. I like this version better than valves new version.
