rocket jump sniper range wall break demo/medic jump scout challenge battle for cap

This map requires alot of team play.

    This map is a good laugh but the cap in the middle is a really boring end.

    Pros: Nicely designed. Demands a lot of teamplay and skill. Cons: Fullbright. No "eye candy" at all (eg. props, details, windows + skybox) Improvements: See cons Notes: Huge fun to play, missing details don't really affect that. I see here an awesome map, played it many times on fun map servers and still not getting bored of it.

    The obvious pitfall is the fact that it is in fullbright mode. Adding lighting and shadows and models creates a better atmosphere that this map could really use.

    The blu and red colored walls are a bit drab too. I mean, this is a creatively designed map that effectively utilizes multiple classes, but the actual design detracts from the skill of the map.

    It would be nice to see better use of text and decals that look more professional. On top of that, the same textures everywhere makes going through the map a bit boring.

    You get the familiar boxed in feeling, and that tends to detract from the fun of the map also.

    I can't under-emphasis the poor aesthetics because they are the reason this map isn't more popular. It is a great concept that falls flat. It is worth checking out for anyone interested in a multiple-class skill map, and offers a bit of a challenge; however, the superb technical aspects are overshadows by the map's deficits.

    Hello noobish. I find this a wonderful map to play on our server. Most of us are not good as soldier but I like it how you can find simple strategies then mush them together and complete it way before the other team. I do think that sniper plus demo/medic are too easy. And maybe in the future you could make this fancier with the obstacles. The rocket jump course is well done and perfect for the gameplay. Not too short. Not too long. 9/10

EDIT: Very basic brushwork, all cubes, no curves, cut corners or any shape whatsoever. Textures are bland and not enough variation or contrast between them. Very little actual thought given to the design of the level itself, no source for lighting or a skybox created. Not a single prop used other than the required capture points themselves. overall, not enough effort placed into the map to be put onto a server.

    Excuse me for quoting an old post but you gave this map a 0 in everything but balance because of lighting and shapes? I am almost positive those do not affect fun, teamplay, or gameplay. Personally I think this is a well done map. I also know plenty of servers that use this map. So please next time play a map before you give it a bad review. Or at least consider what you are actually reviewing when you submit your post.

    Ignore that 'Lost' guy. He just goes around flashing a badge and thinks he is better than everyone else. I've seen him trash perfectly good maps for stupid reasons like 'the map is all bright'. What is seriously wrong with that? Anyway, this map is fun to play on our servers. We all have a good time, especially with host_timescale increased to 10! THe only real improvement I can think of is MORE CHALLENGES!!!! We love this map. Keep up the good work and I'll be one of the first to download v5

    Its a really fun map that our server enjoys playing, but it really needs more work. You have a great start but it needs lighting, props, better texturing and better brushwork.

    Also there is a bug that lets you skip both the demo and scout courses. I hope you keep working on this or something similar
