Jump_Hobo is an elite demoman jump skill map involving air strafing, positional control, precise timing, juggling, and real time multi-tasking.

Jump_Hobo is the first elite demoman jump skill map for TF2. Skills you will use involve air strafing, positional control, precise timing, juggling, and real time multi-tasking. You will need patience and dedication to complete this map, but with practice, your demoman jumping skills and control will increase immensely.

There are seven jumps in this map, and all jumps are possible. Don't try to beat the map in one session. You will fail.

Good Luck. -bob/HobosRust credentials: creator(s) of "Drunken Flying Demoman" on youtube.

Notes:
-this is map is not a race between blue/red. It is an challenge adventure intended for blue demoman only. -all classes/teams are available for public experimentation -auto heal is on through many parts of the map (but not all)

Pros: One of the first jump maps of its time. A very good map for its time and some new/nice jumps in it. Cons: Detail/scenery could be improved. I agree that it needs more of a tf2 feel to it and better lighting could be used. Improvements: Don't use hl2 textures. Always use hdr. Use spot/point spot lights instead of light entitys. Notes: Very nice map for its time. Can't wait for further maps.

Well, this is a great setup to hobo2. You can tell from your variety of brushes and styles that you are getting a better feel of Hammer and how you consider the aesthetics of your map.

On top of that, you don't substitute a good appearance of challenging jumps. And again, you do a great jump of moving the art of sticky jumping forward in to new territory with your creative jumps and innovative techniques.

It is only 7 jumps, but the jumps take awhile for most people to do, so there is no fear of the map being to quick to beat.

I also really like the end of the map with the floating CP and the conveyor belt. It's nice to see an unusual final area, and, for some reason, the conveyor belt is really fun to just stand on.

The difficulty progresses nicely through the whole map and is a definite 'must play' for any budding skill jumpers.

Quite nice, especially on jump6 and 7. This can be a new standard TF2 skillz map.

Pros: very challenging, nice look, lots of fun. Cons: hl2 textures (as mentioned below) Improvements: give it more of a tf2 feel Notes: played this for a few hours last night and it was a lot of fun. i wasn't able to get past the third section, but my buddy made it through to the fifth or six (whatever is before the last stage). very challenging and well thought out, lots of fun.

    So it goes.
