A castle-themed TF2 CTF map

This map is a beta version so please report any problems or suggestions by PM'ing me. Some places are little bland but this is due to brush limits almost being maxed out. I plan to model some of the more complex architecture for the next release.

  • Changed signs from "Control Point" to "Capture Point".

    Pros: The map "looks" very good. Textures and such are well thoughtout and very clean. Cons: This map reminds me of ctfchaos - but with more ways to the intel and not as fun to play. Improvements: Players don't like dark areas. I strongly recommend adding lighting to those dark hallways to the intel. This map doesn't feel very unique after playing ctfchaos. It almost feels like a complicated and not as attractive copy of the map. I'd strongly suggest making your map unique. Players aren't interested in playing a map that is vaguely familiar yet more confusing. You've got a decent idea for a map, but it's not unique and different from maps already provided. It's like creating 2fort but making an extra tunnel in the sewer and changing the textures of the buildings. You're obviously a talented mapper. Focus on making your map something that will draw players back to your map again and again. Players don't want maps that are too complicated (max two ways to the intel). They don't want maps that are too big. They don't want maps that are copies of maps they already play. So put your good mapping skills into a map that will draw in the players. Notes: If you make changes to this map that make it uniquely different from ctf_chaos, let me know and I'll be happy to try it out and re-evaluate it.

    Good map, i don't see the other half of the map being used though, so the bridge is quite useless in an aspect, castle theme is unique and DOES blend with the tf2 style, will see how it fairs in a playtest.

    I like the textures and the balance, but this is not really fun and castle-styled design is not good 8.5/10
