Become Bob, King of the Hill! Beta 2
An update on tf_bob! It is now in second beta and almost finished. In beta 3 I will have finished figuring out most optimal settings of HDR (my first attempt at HDR :p) and made it completely bug free.
Done in this release: * High Dynamic Range Lighting * Doubled the size * Heightened and deepened * Walls adjusted * Platform sides added (for sentries) * Fixed boxes blue sticking out * Adjusted tower position to now partly function as sniper and close range towers * Underwater entrance moved to match with deeper water and longer wall * Boxes are now further apart leaving more space in-between, forcing you to jump instead of walk over them. * All legs adjusted of towers * Moved some textures * Added full clipping & bullet spawns to avoid spawn camping & spawn killing * Changed to a much better skybox * Balanced sides * Fixed getting onto spawn * An outside wall has been added to show the map's edges and add realism.
Known Bugs :( - A weird wall texture that cannot be selected (is being looked into) - Inaccessible blue spawn (:S) - Some textures not completely aligned I will post a small update working on these things thoroughly as soon as possible.
Description: A simple King of the Hill map with one central control point. Hold it for a few minutes and win the round! I made this map to a design from a few friends. It is still in beta as it is not yet thoroughly tested on fluency, gameplay, balance and structure. Please don't forget to assess and post criticism on this map, as its also for my learning process. This is my first Team-Fortress 2 map.
Objective: Fight your way up the platform and take the hill, and then defend it using the towers and the objects to your advantage.
