Almost 9 months of sporadic work has gone into this, and I'm proud to present it to you.

Changes since the last version:

  • Added a 40 sec setup time and added gates to the center point building.
  • Increased cap times for points
  • Vastly improved signage
  • Tweaked one of the route's to each team's first point.
  • Added slight shortcuts that can be accessed by jumping.
  • Added soundscapes
  • Added more detail
  • Tweaked the terrain
  • Optimized a bit more, chopped 10 MB off from the _b2 filesize

This is the last beta before Final, so any and all criticism is appreciated!

    Its great, but having the last points be completely different was a mistake imo. It makes it unfair and unbalanced. If you could somehow mirror the last BLU point for the last RED this would be an excellent map

    Pros: I know its beta but its rather polished as is. Good that there are numerous ways to get around. Under or over etc

    Cons: None. Improvements: Nothing that comes to mind. Notes: Not a flash in the pan flavour of the month map. Has substance and a worthy server addition. Cheers

    Pros: Great detail, overall its fairly fun. Cons: Points are too tight, specifically the middle three. Additionally, this map has the same problem that I tend not to like with granary in that it places too much emphasis on scouts and a team that rushes a bunch of them usually ends up winning.

    The tighness of the middle point can help against scouts, but it only helps on the first push.

    Improvements: Id work on opening up the middle point a bit.

    Pros: very well done. Seems like the map critics always beats me to the good maps :S Sethen already said everything i was gonna say. Will be going in my server! Cons: none Improvements: whatever you can think of. Icant think of any.

    Pros: A map that is simple but yet astonishing. From the screen shots, the overall look and feel of the map looks fantastic. The one thing that I would like to point out is what a fantastic job done on the lighting. Each area reflects lighting in the most awesome way, with lights coming through holes in the inside structures or whether from the outside. The design of the map is simple like an old 1.6 map but is awesome, giving the player more room to run and gun as they wish, without getting tackled by props. The placements of the CP points are very diverse giving an open field for people that like close combat play. The addition of soundscapes are a nice touch to the map giving the map a nice pleasant feel to it. It's nice that you took the time to optimize the map and help chop off 10MB off the file. But in all a great map with extra detail, smooth areas as well as vivid lighting that presents for a great experience.:D
    Cons: none Improvements: none Notes: A great map that introduces great game play, lighting, props (matching) CP points in all. A great look and fun in every way. Keep up the good work.:D

    By spawn time you mean setup time right?

    Haven't playtested this version yet, but I think making the cap times longer might not be a great idea. The prior version is popular here because it actually ends unlike so many other 5 cp maps. Will give it a run through and let you know.
