Official Dragon Slayer gamemode map - Mystic Ruins

This is one of the official Dragon Slayer gamemode maps for TF2 called "The Mystic Ruins".

Objective: The goal on this map is to slay/defend dragon which belongs to RED team. To damage the dragon you'll need to hit it's head which is the only vulnerable part of it's body. Beware! The dragon has sentry gun hidden inside his body!

The map uses alpine style, which was included in Valve's latest class update.

    Pros: Its different for starters. Big emphasis on teamwork both to keep the dragon up and to put it down Cons: As the dragon goes by you on the hill it can push you down and you get stuck. Improvements: fix above Notes: Look forward to next release

    I keep getting nothing but a flying red sentry instead of a full dragon.... is anyone else having this issue?

    Love the gamemode! Needs more maps!

    Pros: Cool idea, maps look quite nice. Cons: Blue spawnroom is abit too dark and the back of it looks strange, also very easy to camp.

    Other notes: Maybe change the incline of the left side of the water so you can walk up there? You can build a sentry up in the air by riding on the dragon, see picture: http://d.imagehost.org/download/0063/ds_mysticruins0000.tga Also one round when we succesfully defended it said that the blue team won (they had recently zapped the dragon so maybe it's because of that..

    I like the dragon-idea but I'm not very fond of the map :)

    The better gameplay wise of the two. problems: blu spaw is way too dark blu spawn is easly campable red spawn door opens up and looks ugly when it does skybox is lacking all in all very nice map

    I tried the map out in early stages and it was very fun map especially with the dragon, I say get this on your server and your server will never be empty :D
