Fight with passion on this new map, cp_hellion !

New map here, featuring badlands environnements, lot of tricks for scout, soldier and demomens, linear style control point capture , i wish you will entertain on it :p

    Its a great map in looks, looks like a cross between badlands and fastlane.

    Some cons are that is really open, and appears to be a bit of a sniper haven. Another problem is i found that you can get underneath the map, by crouching underneath the train gates (near the central point, i think this only works on one side as the other has an invisble wall)..it ended up with blu sentry spamming underneath the red spawn so get that fixed.

    Another minor point is optimization..i noticed a large FPS drop on hellion, even with few players.

    If you tweak it around a bit, less bottlenecks, fix exploits..it will be great!

    Pros: A beautifully detailed map, interesting design, lots of options for both sneaky and all-out gameplay. I like the skybox detail, and the detail put into outlying areas and fences of the map, which are often neglected. Cons: Getting killed randomly from above and below gets frustrating... and I found that falling down was a serious problem. Paths are somehwat narrow, and the backgrounds are visually noisy, which leads to backing into/walking into/falling off of things I couldn't quite make out. Having all the points on bridges makes this a little bit more frustrating... The middle point is a total trap for defenders. You can't see out, you can be attacked from above and below, and there's no real good places to build that can't be abused. You need more flat space around points for Engineers to work. The distance from cap 1 to 2 and 4 to 5 seems a little short to me... it doesn't seem like a team would get defenses up in time after being pushed off the second-last points. Improvements: More broad space for Engineers. Maybe make some of the pathways wider, so it's not just 'run at each other and hope he dies first' sort of thing. As much as I love the details, I would suggest you tone them down... they are visually distracting and sometimes it's hard to tell what's solid and what isn't (gaps in fences etc.) Notes: A very nice map, but when you get knocked off of things even when you're playing alone, it starts to get frustrating.
