This is my first ever skin for any game, I know it's not great (perhaps not even good). But I'm happy with the end result. This is part of Feltorn's 'Biohazard' set, I'm working with him to possibly release a re-skin of all the classes and maybe weapons...

Took me a while, I spent about half hour making the first version then had to modify it so many times it ended up taking me about 4 hours! I also couldn't get the blood to 'match' nicely...

    Sorry me and Felt haven't been making the rest of this pack, but I've been way to busy to play TF2 - Let alone make textures. :'(

    Once the Holidays come around and I get my hands on PhotoShop CS4 - I shall see if I can finish this off. And I'll put more blood on it :D

    I couldn't do anything that makes if more than a recolour because most of that effect was contributed to the faces in the Medic set. And seeing as the soldier has no hair, and half his head is covered by his helmet, I couldn't really do much.

    I'll probably do Demo, Spy then Engi next up. Any other tips on doing the blood? Feltorn's Medics had a Blood sprite made for css, so they were detailed. I tried to keep my blood to the TF2 theme. Which I suppose is a problem in itself as everything should have the same general theme.

    Also, I've got a really bad cold, so I might stay home a couple days, get me some work done!

    The black skin is really cool,i dont really like the white one..

    Textures are cool could use some details like using different colored gloves instead of the hole outfit being black.. it would break up the black giving it a better look in my opinion :)

    The white one looks awe full but then again i dont like light colors so i'm not going to down rate you for that :D

    Blood looks ok could use better brushes and maybe pt some blood in different place's other then always on there back :P

    Overall good release keep it up man.

    I think it's great you are thinking about making a pack for these guys. Best of luck.

    Anyway, on to the skin; looks good, it's fitting with the Biohazard Medic scheme. My criticism for this is that the two skins are the same, though. With the Medics the two have some minor details that are different and make them looks like more than a recolor. Looks a little plain overall, but then again the Soldier doesn't give you much to work with.

    I'd suggest changing up the bloodstains on the black/red Soldier, put them in different spots or something. Maybe give him more? And make it the same color as the blood on the white/blue Soldier. And make the grenades less pink and more red-colored.

    Lastly, have you thought about adding something to further make them stand out? Maybe give the black/red guy some facial hair?

    Nice effort for your first skin.
