A high-resolution, modified version of the kritzkrieg

Kritzkrieg Revamp

Description: Higher resolution, vastly improved version of the illusive Kritzkrieg (now includes stripeless/striped variants)

Install instructions: Open up C:\Program Files\Steam folder... then, "steamapps", then "(whatever your steam account name is)", then "team fortress 2". Copy the "materials" from the zip into the "tf" folder. Be sure to say yes when it asks you about overriding stuff.

Uninstall instructions: Take note of which files you're copying from materials to tf, and if you want to remove the skin, delete those files.

Credit: thanks to Valve for making the original and providing the base for the vmts that I used, as well as the textures I used to make the skin high resolution.

also special thanks to Valve for making the Kritzkrieg the most annoying project I've ever undertaken. hours of frustration are what I love, you know.

All credit for finding the Kritzkrieg's skin, figuring the mind-numbing texture map out, and developing a design that actually works with the model... all that credit goes to me ;)

oh, and extra special thanks to clubtheseals for getting me in-game screenshots! you're a pearl dude, thanks again.

((then I go on to say a lot about feedback -- check the ACTUAL readme for that. basically, to summarize: be careful what you say in regards to technical feedback skin-wise, because this texture map has a lot of restrictions that you probably don't know about. I mean, if you do, great. but if not, please be cautious.))

    Not the best one I have ever seen. Really found the yellow lights better, and the stripes are juse creepy. Only really good part is the 2048X2048 texture.

    First of all, there's a unstriped version. Don't like the stripes? Congratulations. There's a version for you.

    Second of all, the screen of the original exists as a real comparison of how terri-bad the original was. Seriously, I saw it in-game. It was bad. Trust me.

    This is an ok skin i guess, but honestly? white lites? are you kidding me? that looks atrocious! you make the function of the weapon unapparent and pretty much ruined the whole skin, plus it looks more like you uglified the "Old" Kritzcrieg before taking those pics, or your computer sucks.

    This mod only changes the Kritzkreig, and the kritzkreig doesn't use a V model texture, it only uses the existing W model texture from the original medigun.

    Have you actually tried installing the mod, looking at the default medigun, and then looking at the kritzkrieg? If it's not changed then the problem is something else.

    AWESOME! Great job. One of the best skins here on FPSBANANA.com. But could you make a V2 with HD Yellow lights I think it's kinda the Kritzkrieg style. That should be all to make your skin the best ever. You won a half-cookie!
