Don't care what you do with it, as long as you don't take credit for it.

Ballistic Airborne Logic Lobotomizer

UPDATE: New red-flavored skin added.

Nothing special, just an animated skin replacement for the sandman ball. Uses self-illum map to make the effects show up in the dark. Shows up even while on the ground, the contrast and animation makes it easier to spot it on some maps! Deadpool came up with the name. That double L at the end of the name is a doozy.

To install simply unpack and put the materials folder in your /team fortress 2/tf directory. Then move up and choose from one of the 4 skins. By default, the 'glowball' is installed, but you can switch the skin by overwriting the original baseball_sheet.vtf file with one from the 4 directories.

To uninstall, simply delete the v_baseball directory.

Note, this mod will not work on sv_pure servers, but if you're downloading this from FPSB you probably already know that.

Convenient (albeit slightly blurry) gif previews showing off the glowy parts:

A MantaEngie.com release.

I like it. There's not a whole lot going on besides the glow and the tag, but I like it. It's a nice skin.

Posted by BrainZ I just have to ask. What's with the HUD?

mp_tournament 1. Allows you to fool around maps without being limited by time limits and respawn timers.

Also, I'll try to add a red version in the near future.

Pros: Nice work, the BALL is clear, clean and bright. The animations are varied enough that everyone will see something they like. I love being able to find my ball in dark rooms. Cons: I don't really like the label. It's a bit overpowering, to the point where it's trying to be more important than the self illum. Improvements: Where's the red one?

Yep, you hit it spot on there. Without the label I felt that the ball would have looked too plain.

For the futuristic look, I had this idea that the ball was some sort of technology borrowed from the spy, delivering a shock of sorts when hitting someone. You can't read most of the label, but you can make out a little electric shock warning guy on the right side of it.
