The pyro's snow hat. Nobody knows why the pyro wears this. Maybe the pyro secretly loves snow and the cold? Maybe the pyro's mother said "don't forget your hat sweetie, and remember to keep warm!"? That would also explain the pyro's career choice. Who knows?
Replaces the Ghastly Gibus on pyros (due to me personally thinking they're overused when every class runs around with the same hat and for testing purposes).
Yes, it has team colours :)
** UPDATE **
Here you go, a big update with new normal maps (old ones were a bit too cluttered and boring (just a row of insets) so I changed it up a bit), jigglebones (were a major bitch to get to work, spent quite some time trying to figure out how to get it to compile properly... it either compiled without jigglebones, with jigglebones but then the hat was horribly deformed, twice as tall as the pyro and floating about a metre above the pyro, or it wouldn't compile at all... YAY!) and some ingame screenshots.
** INSTALLATION ** This hat now comes with 2 optional things; no jigglebones (for those that don't like 'em or whose computers can cope just a little bit better without jigglebones) and the old normal maps (in case anyone preferred those). Follow these steps to get the version you want.
- Extract the two maps not called OPTIONAL into "[Steam install folder]\steamapps[Steam username]\team fortress 2\tf\".
If you are happy with jigglebones and new normal maps, you're done! If not:
2a. For no jigglebones, extract the "models" folder that you find in the "OPTIONAL" folder into the same folder as earlier. 2b. For the old normal maps, extract the "materials" folder that you find in the "OPTIONAL" folder into the same folder as earlier.
You're done! Remember, step 1 is mandatory, step 2 is optional.
