Simply unzip into your Team Fortress 2 dir, recursing directory structure. Files should end up in: %steamuserdir%\Team Fortress 2\tf2\materials\effects.
===========================================
In a desperate attempt to strike a good visual balance for both teams' medics, pinwheel was born. HOWEVER. for lord knows what reason, reds' beam seems to always look better... 'Cept for the case of the default Valve graphic, which is pretty much equal... Hrm, maybe I am missing something here =) Anyhow, enjoy, and keep it lit <\\\\%*~~~^~~ ~~^~
PS: If there is enough interest in such a thing, I may release a little windoze app that allows you to quickly and easily either:
a) load TF2 "styles" with multiple types of fx that can be quickly loaded\unloaded
or
b) just changes individual aspects of the graphics, for full customization
The only thing really keeping me from having it done and out the door is a easy way to determine what the individual's %steamuser dir is on a per-installation basis. IE: my dir structure would be \program files\steam\steamapps\payo_tea\etc etc etc. If anyone knows the answer to this dilemna, much praise kudos and thanx =)
This looks good and fits in the game, unlike a lot of the things you can find on the internets.

Hm, I actually like the blue version better...
I love this sprite. Very neat looking and fun to look at.

I can say this "BEST ONE YET!!"
