Hi all,

For people with older PC’s, I’ve programmed a tweaker application. It allows you to alter settings that aren’t shown in the options menu to increase performance without losing much of the graphical quality (e.g. texture rendering options remain unchanged).

All tweaks are divided into 4 different categories and can be selected or deselected (and thus won’t be applied).

If you are not satisfied about the tweaks, you can easily remove ‘em via the program.

IMPORTANT: Team Fortress 2 Tweaker requires .NET Framework 2.0

    just try cheacking the options keyboard settings, then set it to defaults, it might have somehow unbound everything.

    This really didn't help my FPS at all, probably just me trying to play this on a crappy notebook with Integrated graphics.

    There is no way to make the models any lower poly than they already are, the level of detail is already in the models. The only way to do it would be to re-model all of the models and then poly-crunch them. that could take months!

    Just downloading this and am going to try this out tonight (since I don't have time right now) but really hoping this will help my 9 fps in game.

    This program is not malicious and really helps those on dual core processors. My only issue with it is the fact that when I restore to my "original" settings it seems to only go back to the last settings I made in the Tweaker program and not my actual original settings. If you cant see decals dont check the box in the graphics column about seeing decals on surfaces. If you think you fully restored but still see shiny models use mat_bumpmap 1 in the console. The prog creator wont respond to emails :-(
