A lot of Americans and even quite a few Brits make the same mistake.

Thats why Americans shouldn't sing about stuff they don't know about. Anyone who has been to london would know the difference, they look nothing alike. And this only heightens the stereotype of dumb Americans.

But still its quite funny :D

Actually, don't you think it's more appealing to have Tower Bridge than London Bridge? And I don't think she meant the actual London Bridge in the song. I heard it was something else and she wanted to show some kind of bridge in the video. Tower bridgge is just more appealing.

Why won't the ghetto scene just end? It's been here for a long long time, and it's really stupid, don't people realize that?

Well in America the London Bridge has always been the Tower Bridge. Hence the nursery rhyme "The London Bridge comes falling down falling down falling down..." I mean it's a song, so it's not a huge deal. But yeah people can be ignorant. Maybe she failed to understand the difference between the two, or she wanted the song to not stray far from the American image of the London Bridge.

Did you ever think she used the Tower Bridge because it was more appealing and not as boring as the real London bridge. Also, the by "London Bridge" she meant her in general as in everytime he was around she wanted to have sex.

You realise there have been TWO London Bridges. The first was made of wood and was made by the Romans, it was pulled down supposedly by Vikings in their Longboats in a raid on London.
