Which is better performance

Alright, sorry about all my tech posts but i'm curious and still learning, so this post is about which one is better:

1) 8600GT at 512mb GDDR3 with silent cooling by ASUS for $102.99

    Go for the 8500GT but to tell you honestly, both those cards suck. I really suggest getting a 9600GT or at least get a 8600GT because the 8500 is not a gaming card.

    Don't spend under $100 and avoid 256MB. No, 256+256+SLI isn't 512.

    If you really need to cheap it, at least get one of these. Otherwise, don't settle for anything slower than a 3850 because the price/perf is non-existant for those low-end cards.

    Well i wanted to get a 400W one cuz i had a 8500gt in mind but thats probably gonna change and the case i want to get comes with 450W one but idk if i should trust the case power supply

    Well you don't need a 450W for a X1950XTX.400W is enough.But why don't you chose a 9600GT ?the cheapest tat you can find on newegg is the PNY 9600GT for $145.
