I might of done something very dumb

Please any advice will be great

By Carge Dawnstrider 4 years ago

Ok was changing my GUI for the main menu from one custom one to another.

The first custom one stopped playing any of the theme tunes on startup. I could figure how to add them so I thought hell delete the RC file (Valve.rc)

The other GUI is up and music is playing on the main menu but the RC fiel hasn't recreated itself!

I want to add a custom song to the main menu, but I don't know how without the RC file (I did the same with CSS)

Please on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad a move did I make? and how do I fix things?

Thanks!

    Have you restarted steam?

If that doesn't work, you know if you delete cstrike, then restart steam, it auto downloads the default cstrike folder.

But only do that once you've backed up all your skins ;)

Take your mp3's to sounds/UI and name them gamestartup1.mp3 gamestartup2.mp3 etc. (You can have four mp3's that will be played randomly everytime you start TF2/CSS or whatever.
