The medals module is regretfully gone.

The medals module has been shut down. It will not re-appear.
Cookie, who hosted and coded the module, has told me that he will no longer support the module, and it is therefore shut down, and it will not reappear. He apologizes for this.
I respect his decision, and I expect you all do too.
I would personally like to thank all of the contributers, you've been a support beam for a great module. Cookie also thanks you for your generous contributions.
Please note, this does not change any of your stats. Any medal you had is not "lost." You can get other medal modules where your stats are the same, and displayed as such.
Thank you all, it was a good run. :')

I've created a medals module for FPSB members to use through tom's API but I'm still adding medals to it. This thread is not an advertisement - I need your help. Basically, we need more medal graphics. If you're interested in making medals take a look at what we have already to get a general feel for the style (pixel art):

All medals should be 50px tall and around the same width (or thinner) than the ones you see above. Backgrounds should be transparent (gif or png) with no transparent space on the left, right, or top (in other words, no padding except at the bottom). Anybody who creates a medal that is used in the module will obviously be credited on the module page as well as receive a special medal for their contribution :).
We can do medals based on gametracker stats - if there's a particular game that you like a series of medals for it (Battlefield Nub / Battlefield Veteran - you get the idea) would be awesome.
In general we cannot do medals for things that aren't in the API - currently this includes submission counts like threads, tutorials, and sprays. Only tom can add to the API - but keep in mind he's a very busy man.
Current medal team: Cookie Monster (code / hosting), tom (code / art / hosting), BigDog (code), the-Flash (art), LuntiX (art), DingGOLing (art), Aceman (art), tizu (art), Gez (art), Shougunner (art), SloMoFio (art), Reaper (art), and Unknown (in case I missed anyone). Only makers of medals or code currently in use are listed.

Note: I, XSS3, am re-posting this on Cookie's request. I have had no part in making the module (or even this thread!).
Update: The module is being refitted! We need some medals for unrepresentet categories. Currently needed:
Contributers will obviously be credited. Cookie and I appreciate your support greatly. :)-->
