    Im not using that. But i know why now lol use this if you are going to use a decompiled knifes qc file. Im not.

    With 3DS Max I think that's called a link or parent constraint.

    I was using 30-40 frames for each sequence, and a good idea is to count the frames for valve's sequences. Use a bit more frames than theres, and a higher fps rate to make things move smoother.

    Posted by RedRogueXIII Well for me, once I've got the idle done I save a copy of it then start a sequence. Set all keyframes at 0 copy and paste to the end of your animation then adjust keys inbetween. The idle looks good so far, maybe bring down the left hand a bit though.

    Thank you for that post, I was using Xander's animating VTM but you just summed up all I needed to know in a few words.

    Do you know how long/frames I should be doing for each sequence ?like stab, slash, draw.
