Reciever and bolt just aboot done, eh. Also, <3 mah vrays. Took me long enough to get it working, but it looks like I'm going to be able to do so much more with it.

So did you stop making this or what? I was looking forward to this!

Oooh i gotcha. lol i aint the sharpest needle in your sock when it comes to guns n stuff...

no, I got an Enfield no4, this is an m1 carbine :D I'll be starting my enfield model soon though.

Oh lawd. and so it begins... :P
this is that gun you got, right? or am i thinking of a different one...
Damn ! Now thats fockin metal !

I used vray for this one. If you can.. acquire.. a copy, than it's really good. As for normal max rendering, I have a tut somewhere, I'll dig it up for you. tut I would play around with the material a bit and tone down the reflections, it tends to wash out minor details, but other than that it's nice. After trying vray though, I would definitely recommend it.
I will look up a reference for this and leave constructive feedback once i have some...IF....you tell me how you do your nifty renders?
I really need to learn more about rendering in Max, help...please?

Looking good, try softening the edge of the side of the receiver where it meets the curvature of the chamber.

Sex :D
